Recently, a rumor saying that Skylar was dropped by RRQ has been circulating. The news certainly came as a surprise to many fans and stakeholders in the esports scene. One of them is Jonathan Liandi.

Skylar is one of the key players in RRQ's roster for several seasons of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) major tournament. As a matter of fact, Skylar - whose real name is Scevenko David Tendean - previously fought for RRQ at the M4 World Championship and MPL Indonesia Season 11.

However, after the end of the MPL ID S11, this Manado-born man made a surprising statement. In his TikTok live, he said that he was kicked out of the "King of Kings".

“'Are you still playing for RRQ?'. No more, I've already been kicked. Farewell, guys, now you can be happy,” he said.

This statement certainly shocked a number of people. One of those who gave a reaction about this matter was none other than Jonathan Liandi.

Jonathan Liandi on Skylar's Alleged Exit from RRQ

In a video uploaded on Jonathan Liandi's YouTube channel, titled "Skylar Got Kicked Out of RRQ Because of This & Rekt and XIN Ready for RRQ Trial for MPL S12?! - EMPACTION #105,” the man shared his view on this matter.

In the video, the former EVOS pro player says that it seems that Skylar wasn't joking when he said that.

“I think, from the way Skylar delivered it, it could be a joke, but maybe it wasn't. But, I don't think he's joking, I suppose. It's just, if it's true, it means that RRQ will undergo an overhaul. Either Skylar will get dropped to the MDL, or he may also get released or transferred. But, yeah, let's just wait for the follow up,” he stated.

However, Liandi also believes that Skylar remains a great player.

“But I think that Skylar remains one of the great players. Although, we have to admit, he's been underperforming. But, I don't know whether the (slump) will continue or whether he will rise from it,” he added.

For information, RRQ is yet to clarify for Skylar's alleged release from the team.
