The rumor about Sony working on a God of War film has been circulating since 2017. One of the crucial characters in God of War is Kratos. He is the almighty protagonist of the series. 

But it seems like the fans’ dream to see him in action on film or series won’t be realized. Sony reportedly has no plan to make a film or series about God of War. Despite Sony working on many video game films, God of War is not included in that list.

The news is confirmed via an anonymous Sony spokesperson. They confirmed that God of War will remain in PS4 and PS5. Despite the company’s plan for Twisted Metal and Ghost of Tsushima, they have no play for God of War.

The rumor about God of War has been circulating for a long time. Even actor Jason Momoa declares his interest in playing as Kratos if Sony planned on making a God of War film.

Fans might be slightly disappointed with this news as there’s little to no chance that they will watch the God of War series or film.
