For those of you who have been waiting for the release of Splatoon 3, now you won’t have to wait even longer. In a trailer video, Nintendo announced that Splatoon 3 will officially be released on 9 September 2022.

The game, which will be available for the Nintendo Switch, was previously slated for a release in 'Summer 2022', yet it was finally pushed back to 9 September this year. The trailer video for the game shows how this entire 4v4 Multiplayer paintball Turf War is played. You can also see several new features such as the first-person shooter, a new camera feature, a respawn mechanism, and other new adjustments. The game sure looks fun and exciting. 

On top of that, Splatoon 3 is now available for pre-order but in the meantime, there are still no pre-order bonuses announced. Splatoon 3 was first announced last year, which brings back a mix of multiplayer competitive concepts with guns and special abilities, a new co-op mode called 'Salmon Run', and a new single-player campaign called 'Return of the Mammalians'.

It’s been 5 years since Splatoon 2 was released in July 2017. This game managed to record more than 2 million copies sold in Japan in February 2018, becoming the first Nintendo Switch game to do so.
