The Spy x Family returns with a second season. This time, the latest season of the anime based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo of the same name, tells the story of the Forger family which was formed due to the secret motives of "Twilight", a spy agent under the pseudonym Loid Forger along with his adopted child Anya Forger and Yor Forger who became Loid's wife for the sake of this mission. Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 1 Review

1. Yor Acting Strangely

This first episode opens with the action of Yor carrying out her secret mission as an assassin. Yor is tasked with eradicating a group of evil people. However, during her mission, it turns out that Yor was shot in the buttocks. When she returns home, Yor acts a little strangely with a bad expression on her face, which results in a misunderstanding. Loid thinks Yor's mood is not good because she always tells Yor to do housework, so Yor has an uncomfortable and unhappy expression. In fact, this happens because she was shot in the buttocks.

2. Loid and Yor Go on a Date

Worried about Yor's bad mood, Loid is worried that his mission would fail if family problems occurred. He tries another way to improve Yor's mood, namely asking her out on a date when they are going on a holiday. With the intention of taking revenge, this person intends to harm Yor by giving her poison and wants to kill Yor there. Yor and Loid do not know this. The person delivers the poison from the pufferfish to Yor's table. However, it turns out that the poison that is served is drunk by Yor and does not have any effect on her. In fact, the poison becomes a cure for the pain in Yor's buttocks, and she becomes better than before. Yor has a high immunity to poison, and the poison turns into medicine for her.

5. Anya Becomes a Real Spy

Anya knows that someone had evil intentions towards Yor because she read that person's mind. Feeling to protect her mother, Anya and Franky try to sneak into the restaurant to prevent bad things from happening. She creeps into the restaurant with Franky while reading the bad guy's mind to find out his evil plans for Yor. This time, Anya finds out about the person's evil plan, who wants to use extreme methods to finish off Yor.

Knowing the person's desire to make a bomb, Anya intends to thwart the plan and trap the perpetrator. When the perpetrator rushes to the storage room, Anya puts on slippery olive oil to slow down the perpetrator's movements, then makes a trap when the perpetrator enters the storage room, and even makes an explosive made from nuts. In the end, Anya dons an all-black spy outfit and succeeds in thwarting this person's evil plan.

6. The Date Turns Out Well

Thanks to all of Anya's efforts, Yor and Loid's date turns out better, plus Yor's gunshot wound has now completely healed thanks to the poison that she drank. While closing the first episode of Spy x Family Season 2, Yor and Lod end their date by going to see the view on a seaside bridge. Yor, who feels happy that day, even asks Loid to ask her out again another time. Anya, who doesn't want to miss the happy moment between her parents, finally comes out of hiding and asks them to take her on their next date.
