Square Enix shared a few spoilers about the Avalanche members in Final Fantasy VII Remake, especially Biggs. The fate of the Avalanche members turns out to be different compared to the original FFVII. In the original story, Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie were killed by debris from Sector 7. Meanwhile, in the remake version, things are different.

Wedge was able to survive the incident, while Jessie's fate is still uncertain. Then Biggs is seen lying on the bed with Jessie's equipment nearby. Square Enix also confirmed that Biggs could survive the incident. You can see the condition in the picture below!

Then one of the scenes from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth at TGA 2023 shows Biggs talking to Zack about this incident. At that time we could also see posters of Barret, Tifa, Wedge, and Jessie who were thought to be dead. Only Jessie's fate is unknown even though she is most likely still alive.

Will Biggs be a playable character in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth? Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on February 29th 2024 exclusively for PS5.
