Sword of Justice, NetEase’s latest MMORPG, immediately captivated us the first time we played it. The game just opened its pre-registration phase on May 29, 2025, and the Dunia Games team was lucky enough to try it out early.

Sword of Justice

Game Overview

  • Genre: MMORPG (Mobile, also playable on PC)

  • Developer/Publisher: NetEase

  • Pre-registration Date: May 29, 2025

First Impressions

Right from the start, we were welcomed by stunning visuals that felt like watching a moving painting. An epic background music accompanied the loading screen, featuring the protagonist leaping and throwing a sword at a cliff—enough to give us goosebumps. The opening scene zooms out from a village view, showcasing the wuxia world the game aims to bring to life.

Visuals, Graphics, and User Interface

The graphics are detailed and pleasing to the eye, from the environments to the dazzling skill effects. The user interface feels clean and intuitive, making it easy for new players to navigate the menus, skills, and other features. Music and sound effects enhance the epic atmosphere in every scene, including the loading screen.

Gameplay Mechanics

In the initial session, we played as a character undergoing a trial by a master. Interestingly, the master can create ice with every martial arts move—so our character had to move swiftly to avoid freezing. If we passed this trial, the character could move more freely: jumping, sliding on icy paths, and throwing swords just like in the loading screen.

Before that, we could also customize the character’s class and appearance, so players can design their characters to their liking.

After passing the master’s trial, we jumped straight into the game world, interacting with NPCs and completing small quests that awarded rewards.

At the start, the character was already equipped with a fiery breath move, as well as the ice skills taught by the master.

Unique Features

Interestingly, the master’s trial is quite challenging: if you fail, you can’t proceed to the next stage. This means players really have to master the basic controls from the get-go. If you don’t pass, you have to try again until you succeed.

Technical Quality

During our 3–4 hours of gameplay, the game’s performance was stable with smooth frame rates. The initial loading screen was a bit long, but understandable considering the high visual quality. No significant bugs were encountered so far, even though the game is still in development. Indonesian language support is already available.

Future Potential

Sword of Justice has great potential to build a passionate player community. Its grand wuxia world, combined with solid gameplay and deep customization, will surely keep players engaged for a long time.

Conclusion

Sword of Justice is definitely worth trying, especially for fans of MMORPGs with a strong wuxia vibe. This game is perfect for those who love adventure, exploring a mysterious world, and becoming a sword-wielding hero who upholds justice.

Although still in development, the game already shows promising visual quality and gameplay. We can’t wait for the final version.
