It is undeniable that Venom is one of the deadliest symbiotes in the Marvel comics world. This Spider-Man enemy is always sticking to a human host, which in the comics is Eddie Brock. Even so, Venom is not alone in the Marvel comics, there are other symbiotes that are equally deadly. Who are they? Check out the list below.
1. Anti-Venom
As the name suggests, Anti-Venom has the opposite power characteristics from Venom. If Venom is weak to fire or heat and sound, Anti-Venom is actually immune to all of these things. Interestingly Anti-Venom can also cure disease, poisoning or radioactive effects. Anti-Venom appears when Eddie Brock and Venom interact with Mister Negative who turns Venom into Anti-Venom.
2. Riot
Besides Carnage, there are other symbiotes that are even more powerful! That character is Riot. One of the reasons why Riot has become strong is because of its human host. He is Trevor Cole, a former security guard who is proficient in fist fights, firearms, and combat tactics. Riot has the appearance of Venom but with a bigger body!
3. Toxin
If you don't know, symbiotes in Marvel comics were born by splitting themselves. Venom gives birth to Carnage, then at a point Carnage realizes this and creates another parasite called Toxin. Interestingly, Toxin even becomes a good symbiote. The host of Toxin is a cop named Patrick Mulligan who vows to eradicate evil and become a hero.
4. Kron Stone
As you know, Marvel comics have many alternative universes. In a series called Marvel 2099, Venom in the future has a human host named Kron Stone. But Venom in Marvel 2099 is very different, after evolving this alien parasite is getting stronger!
Venom Kron Stone has additional powers such as poisonous blood and saliva as well as the ability to turn molecules of its human host into a soft liquid; so Venom Kron Stone can change shape more easily.

5. Carnage
The most violent and merciless! That's probably the sentence that describes Carnage the best. Even worse, the human host of this parasite is a psychopathic serial killer named Cletus Kasady. You can imagine how scary Carnage is, right? According to David Micheline, creator of Carnage, this character is designed to be Spider-Man's strongest, most dangerous and scariest enemy!
6. Knull
Knull is the god of the symbiotes in the Marvel universe. This character first appeared in Venom Vol 4 #3 which was published in August 2013. The beginning of Knull's awakening began when SHIELD found a fossil of a symbiote dragon named Grendel. This discovery is used by SHIELD to create super soldiers called sym-soldiers, this makes Knull's consciousness begin to return. Then he resurrects Grendel and attacks New York City.
Knull is trying to get his body back and restart the conquest to have the universe fall into his hands, starting with planet Earth. But his efforts will not be easy because Knull is stopped by Venom and Spider-Man who work together.
7. Venomsaurus Rex
Venomsaurus Rex is the nickname given to T-Rex who joined the symbiote Venom. This T-Rex monster made its debut in Wolverine Vol. 3 #69 by writer Mark Millar and illustrator Steve McNiven in 2009. In "Old Man Logan: Part 4", it is told that T-Rex from Savage Land ate one of the clones of the Madrox Gang who previously drank the symbiote by accident, resulting in the scary Venomsaurus Rex, complete with fangs and sticking out tongue.
