Synopsis of Bring Her Back

This film follows the story of Andy, a 17-year-old teenager, and his stepsister Piper, who are placed in foster care after their father is found dead. They live with Laura, an eccentric former counselor, and a mute boy named Oliver. Laura lost her daughter Cathy, who was visually impaired like Piper, and since then, her life has changed drastically. She seems to favor Piper and neglects Andy, who still carries emotional wounds from their father’s mistreatment.

Strange things begin to happen when Andy realizes that Oliver is behaving oddly, and Laura’s house hides many dark secrets. As Andy tries to protect Piper, he discovers that Laura is attempting to bring her daughter back to life through an ancient demonic ritual, involving Cathy’s body and Oliver as a medium. In this film, Billy Barratt plays Andy, a teenager burdened with guilt and trauma after his father’s death and the unjust treatment from his foster family.
