Impel Down is the most dangerous prison in the world of One Piece inhabited by high-profile criminals. There are also many criminals who have devil fruit powers. 1. Crocodile

Crocodile is a former Shichibukai who once tried to dominate the Kingdom of Arabasta. His status as a Shichibukai was removed and he was thrown into Impel Down. Knowing Whitebeard will come to Marineford, Crocodile invited Luffy to work together to escape from Impel Down.

Luffy worked with him until he arrived at Marineford. Crocodile intended to kill Whitebeard but failed. After the war ended, he went to the New World with Mr.1.

2. Morley

Morley is a giant okama who leads the Revolutionary Army in the West. Morley ate the Oshi Oshi no Mi which allows him to push various objects. With this ability, Morley can also hide on the ground and attack opponents by pushing the ground towards them.

100 years before the story begins, Morley was a pirate prisoner held in Impel Down. Somehow, he was able to escape from Impel Down after creating the 5.5th floor which is later occupied by Ivankov and the other okamas. As a giant, Morley has a much stronger physique than humans and a longer life.

3. Portgas D. Ace

Ace is also one of the strongest prisoners in Impel Down. He was arrested after collapsing against Teach. His identity as the son of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger made Ace sentenced to death. His comrades did not let Ace be killed by the Marines, including Luffy. He became the trigger for the Marineford war.

Luffy managed to free Ace's handcuffs, but he died at the hands of Akainu after protecting Luffy from his magma fist. Ace ate the Mera Mera no Mi, allowing him to generate and manipulate fire according to his will. Currently, the ability is passed down to his brother, Sabo.

4. Emporio Ivankov

Ivankov is the queen of the Kamabakka Kingdom who is also one of the commanders of the Revolutionary Army. Ivankov could have run away if he wanted to, but he preferred to stay on the 5.5th floor of Impel Down until the time was right to escape.

After learning that Luffy is Dragon's son, Ivankov decided to help him free Ace at Marineford. That's when they escaped together and freed several other prisoners to work with.

5. Catarina Devon

Catarina Devon is one of the 10 pirates who became the Commander of Yonkou, Marshall D. Teach. Not much is known about her, what is clear is that she is one of the most dangerous female pirates. It was proven when she managed to survive in the Battle Royale battle on the 6th floor of Impel Down.

6. Sanjuan Wolf

Sanjuan is the captain of the Blackbeard's Seventh Division. He is a giant who was born in a giant village in West Blue. Its body size is much larger than an ordinary giant. With his devil fruit power yet to be mentioned, his height can even reach 180 meters, making him the tallest human known.

Sanjuan was locked in a giant cell on the 6th floor of Impel Down before being released by Teach. With him, the Blackbeard Pirates' combat power becomes much greater. It can also be said that he is one of the strongest members of the Blackbeard Pirates.

7. Donquixote Doflamingo

Doflamingo is one of the Shichibukai with the very dangerous Ito Ito no Mi ability. After his defeat against Luffy, he was thrown into Impel Down 6th floor and watched directly by Magellan. Despite languishing in the most dangerous prison in the world, Doflamingo still laughed as if he had other evil plans in motion.

8. Shiki

Shiki is the captain of the Golden Lion Pirates who were active during the Roger era. 9. Mr. 1

10. Douglas Bullet

At the beginning of the One Piece Stampede, Bullet was seen being held captive in Impel Down. So dangerous, Teach didn't even want to recruit him when he was looking for prisoners on the 6th floor for his crew. Bullet was a user of the Gasha Gasha no Mi ability and also the main antagonist of One Piece Stampede.
