Tsubasa and Misaki is the Golden Duo in Captain Tsubasa anime since they were in Nankatsu Elementary School. Since their first meeting, Tsubasa has able to cooperate well with Misaki. They might be the best pair that the Japan National team has.

However, besides Tsubasa and Misaki, these four combinations are deserved to get the Golden Duo title. Do you agree?

1. Tsubasa and Rivaul

Tsubasa and Rivaul are the players who can do a great combination technique in Catalunya team. If Tsubasa is the eagle, then Rivaul is the hawk.The combination between the captain of Japan National team and Catalunya’s hawk is able to penetrate the enemy’s defense.

This was proven when Tsubasa and Rivaul held a sparring match to compete for the position in the first team. Unfortunately Rivaul and Tsubasa cannot play at the same time because the position that the Captain of Nankatsu wanted is midfielders, Rivaul’s position at that time.

If it wasn’t for that, maybe Tsubasa and Rivaul will show their combination technique once again in an official match.

2. Kazuo and Masao Tachibana

Kazuo and Masao or best known as Tachibana Twins are the twin brothers who rely on teamwork when playing soccer. When they first met with Tsubasa in the elementary level tournament, they used Triangle Shot technique.

This technique works when Kazuo passes the ball high forward and is headed by Masao who uses the goalpost to return the ball to Kazuo to kick it. The Tachibana Twins also have the Skylab Hurricane technique. By leaning on Masao’s feet, Kazuo would head the ball which is catapulted high into the air.

3. Diaz and Pascal

Diaz is a genius who is able to master high level soccer techniques since he was young. He is the captain of Argentina national team and was a tough opponent for Tsubasa. And Pascal is Diaz’s partner as well as his childhood friend.

The Japan team who faced the combination of these two Argentina players was overwhelmed. Unfortunately, because of Diaz’s solo play who was frustrated because he cannot defeat Tsubasa’s strong will.

If only Diaz could play more calmly and managed to do a combi attack with Pascal, maybe the Argentina national team would be able to win the match.

4. Napoleon and Pierre

Napoleon and Pierre are the French National Team players who have been competed with Japan team at the International Jr. Youth Tournament. Besides having a good individual game, Napoleon and Pierre also managed to show an awesome combination game when they competed with Japan team.

They used a technique called Eiffel Attack, one-two attack which shaped like the Eiffel Tower. A very good combination from this technique is manage to break the Japan team defense and Wakashimazu must concede from Napoleon’s Cannon Shot.
