A surprising turn of events occurred during the sixth week of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2025 Fall. Indonesian team EVOS Divine managed to survive a crucial period and was at risk of failing to advance to the Grand Final. EVOS Divine's performance in the sixth week of FFWS SEA 2025 Fall was quite good at first. On the first day, Rasyah and his teammates dominated the standings.
However, on the second day of FFWS SEA 2025 Fall Week Six, Sunday, September 21, 2025, a nightmare befell EVOS Divine. The team's poor performance nearly prevented Rasyah and his teammates from reaching the Grand Final of FFWS SEA 2025 Fall. Frequently eliminated early with unconvincing points, EVOS ultimately advanced to the Grand Final after their competitors were eliminated.
Reasons for EVOS's Plummeting Performance in FFWS SEA 2025 Fall Week 6, Day 2: Here's Manay's Answer
For your information, on the first day of the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall Week 6, Saturday, September 20, 2025, they secured a total of 94 points and placed first. This meant EVOS Divine certainly had no worries going into the second day. However, their fate was in jeopardy on the second day of the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall Week 6, Sunday, September 21, 2025.
This poor performance nearly cost EVOS their Grand Finals berth. Fortunately, some of EVOS' closest competitors, such as Vietnam's Team Flash and Virtus Pro, failed to overtake them in the final game, and EVOS secured a significant number of points to rescue themselves from the brink. This was quite a surprising turnaround compared to the first day.
In an exclusive interview with Dunia Games (DG), the Head of the Free Fire Division at EVOS, Muhammad Farhan "Manay" Ridha, clarified what happened to his players that day. First, Manay stated that EVOS's slump on the second day was very confusing. While the situation was favorable for EVOS on the first day, it was the opposite on the second day. However, Manay acknowledged that perhaps his players needed this situation to bounce back in the Grand Final.
"The situation was very confusing. Because (the results) were a complete 180-degree difference from yesterday, right? Yesterday was good, now it's really down. But, usually, these players need (a situation) like this. So (during) the evaluation, it was serious, not just for the sake of being ready for the final. I think that's what happened," Manay told Dunia Games (DG) exclusively.
Manay added that another factor that caused his players' performance to slump on the second day was a lack of awareness about maintaining their performance. Furthermore, Manay assessed that some of his players were underperforming, prompting the team to immediately take preventative measures by rotating players. "Maybe they felt like they had a high score yesterday, so they played with less awareness (that they could catch up). I don't know, maybe AimGod wasn't performing well either, so they replaced him with AbaaaX," Manay added.
"Well, hopefully, they won't perform like this in the Grand Final," he concluded.
