Bandai Namco has again released the latest gameplay trailer for the newest character in the upcoming game,  Tekken 8. This time, Bandai Namco introduced the character Feng Wei through their latest video trailer.

As you can see, Feng Wei is a powerful and intimidating fighter. He also doesn't seem too difficult to control but his movements still look strong and steady. Feng Wei is seen using Kenpo martial arts skills from China which he adapted to his fights.

Apart from announcing the addition of the latest roster in Tekken 8, they also announced the schedule for Tekken 8's closed beta test which will be available on 20-23 October 2023 on all platforms supported by Tekken 8. Tekken Fight Lounge, Battle Options Tutorial, Quick Match, and Ranked Match will all be available in this closed beta test. You can try to register to get access to this closed beta test on October 11, 2023, at 12:00 PT or around 2:00 AM (GMT +7)

The new Fight Lounge feature in Tekken 8 allows you to view other players' profiles, communicate with other players, and quickly jump into matches through this hub. You can also use various methods to talk to players using chat, emotes, and even stamps.

The game is rumored to be able to be played cross-platform in this closed beta test. Then there will be 19 Tekken 8 roster characters that you can try, including Feng Wei and there are 6 stages that will be present. Some of the previously announced characters include Asuka Kazama, Azucena, Raven, King, Jin Kazama, Jun Kazama, Lili De Rochefort, Nina Williams, Ling Xiaoyu, Claudio Serafino, and many other previously announced characters.

Tekken 8 will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 26, 2024. Even though the release date is still several months away, fans can look forward to the arrival of this legendary fighting game.
