Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released a story trailer for the highly anticipated fighting game, Tekken 8, on Thursday, December 14th 2023. In a recent video on Bandai Namco Entertainment's YouTube channel on Wednesday, December 13th 2023, it was announced that Yoshimitsu will be a playable character in the soon-to-launch Tekken 8.

The plan is that Tekken 8 will be released on January 26th 2024. At launch, the game will feature 32 characters, including Sergei Dragunov.

Tekken 8 is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Steam platform. Between iconic characters such as Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams, Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix and other favorite characters such as Yoshimitsu, Tekken 8 promises a stunning fighting experience.

Previously, Tekken 7, which launched in June 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, had captivated fans with its exciting gameplay. The anime series Tekken: Bloodline, which follows the story of the fighting game Tekken 3, also managed to attract attention when it premiered on Netflix in August 2022.
