After Wandavision and The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Marvel Studios will come up with Loki.

In general, Loki will revolve around the God of Mischief’s journey throughout alternate realities. It’s caused by him escaping with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. This has caused alternate realities and Loki ends up being captured by the TVA for his actions.

In the latest trailer, Loki travels to various places in different timelines, which will be explained more in the series later on. And, based on the trailer video, here are five locations and timelines that Loki will visit.

1. TVA (Time Variance Authority) Headquarters

Simply put, the TVA is an organization that monitors and maintains the timelines.

This place will likely be featured more than any other location, as it’s the place where Loki is being held and asked to fix the reality that has been altered by his actions.

Interestingly, within this base, time and space don’t have any effect.

2. Asgard (2011)

Next, is Asgard in 2011. It’s not surprising that Asgard is one of the places he’ll visit, as it’s closely related to his own origin.

In one scene, we can see Asgard’s majestic throne with Loki wearing his old attire. It’s unclear what he’s doing in Asgard, but one thing for sure, the events from the first Avengers movie will also be featured in Loki.

3. New York (2012)

After Asgard 2011, the next location Loki will set his foot in is New York in 2012. In this scene, we can see Loki wearing his old costume and a close shot of Tony Stark’s mirror.

This scene may involve Loki trying to get back to the time where he used the Tesseract to escape, or, it’s a flashback to a scene that we haven’t seen before.

4. New York City (Unknown Timeline)

It turns out that New York City will likely be featured more than once in this series. The series will also show New York City from a different timeline, where everything has been devastated.

Loki can be seen standing in the middle of the run-down state of the city and looks lost. The scene may show another reality where Loki has launched a successful attack with the Chitauri, defeating the Avengers in the process. In other words, a completely different reality.

Will Loki be assigned by the TVA to prevent the incident, or perhaps he will meet the other version of himself from that reality? Let’s see.

5 . Earth (1970s) and Pompeii (79 AD)

The next location is somewhere on earth in the 1970s. This one’s quite fascinating as Loki shares similar looks with the legendary hijacker, DB Cooper, by jumping off a plane and disappears using the Bifrost Bridge.

Last but not least, is Pompeii in 79 AD. Pompeii was an ancient Roman city, which was wiped out from history due to the explosion of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

In one scene from the trailer, Loki seems to be in that city, with hot clouds coming down the mountain. Loki looks to be unaware of the incident about to hit him.

In this case, there are two possibilities: Loki perhaps will try to save the citizens shortly before the eruption, or Loki will make sure that Mount Vesuvius erupts at the right time to annihilate the city. Which one do you think will be best for him?
