According to Chopper, the Rumble Ball is used to disrupt the Devil Fruit wavelength, which helps him transform into four other forms for three minutes. Even so, the usage of Rumble Ball is under strict supervision, and Chopper can only eat one Rumble Ball every six hours.

When eating two Rumble Balls at once, Chopper’s body will transform on its own. When Copper eats three Rumble Balls at once, he transforms into an uncontrollable monstrous giant reindeer. This happens at Enies Lobby when Chopper faces against CP9 and at Shabaody island when the Straw Hat crew faces Kuma.

After spending two years for training at the Torino Kingdom, Chopper explained that he can transform into six other forms with just one Rumble Ball and has improved all of his seven forms.

Aside from that, Chopper can also control his giant reindeer form, although he’s unable to move for several hours after using it. But what will happen when Chopper eats four Rumble Balls at once? A fan asked this question on an SBS column in One Piece vol. 48.

This is how the question goes, “Oda-chi, i love your manga. I have a question, what will happen when Chopper eats four Rumble Balls? Please give a picture, i am really curious!”

The question then answered by Oda!

“Good question. When eating three Rumble Ball, he became wild. Before the time skip, he can’t control his transformation. When he eats four Rumble Balls at once, then the author becomes wild. This is how Chopper looks after he eats four Rumble Balls.”

That’s the answer of the mangaka while providing a picture of how ‘Chopper looks’ after eating four Rumble Balls at once. From the picture, we can see that Oda-sensei is just joking around; since he never thought what will happen if Chopper eats four Rumble Balls at once.

From the sentence “then the author becomes wild,” then we should have predicted that Oda-sensei is yet to think what will happen. The reader that predicted that Chopper will have a cooler form may be disappointed with the answer.

Maybe when Chopper eats four Rumble Balls, he becomes old like Hody Jones during the Fish-Man Island. That means that it should never happen since it harms his body. It’s possible that in the future, Chopper will have a new form after eating four Rumble Balls.
