One Piece Theory about the Four Gods! Who Are They?
This time we will discuss One Piece's theory about the Four Gods which is quite interesting. Curious? Here's the full review.
Anime & Manga | 18 January
One Piece reveals that gods do exist in the series. During Luffy's battle with Kaido, he discovered that his Devil Fruit was not the Gomu Gomu no Mi, but the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Sun God Nika. This then leads us to the concept of the Four Gods, which is not widely known.
One thing is for sure the Four Gods are strong and we have seen how Luffy's power in Gear 5 mode is able to finish off Kaido. As mentioned above, there are four gods in One Piece namely the Sun God, Rain God, Forest God, and Earth God. Although it was revealed that Luffy's Devil Fruit gave him the powers of the Sun God Nika, the identities of other characters with godlike powers are still a mystery.
This time, the writer would like to invite fans to discuss the One Piece theory regarding the Four Gods which is interesting to discuss.
Luffy as the Sun God
The only character confirmed to have godlike powers is none other than the protagonist of the series, Monkey D. Luffy. After awakening his Devil Fruit while fighting Kaido, Luffy discovers that his power is actually the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Sun God Nika. Luffy can access all of Sun God Nika's powers by going into Gear 5.
While Luffy is the first "god" to be confirmed, we still don't know about the other gods. According to the World Government, Nika's Sun God fruit grants the "silliest" powers of any Devil Fruit, with the user's body gaining rubber-like properties as well as a cartoon-like physique.
Dragon Is Another God
Coincidentally, the next person most likely to have godlike powers is Luffy's father, Monkey D. Dragon. Very little is known about Dragon, other than he is the leader of the Revolutionary Army and the most wanted criminal in the world of One Piece.

The reason Dragon is one of the possessors of the god's devil fruit powers is because almost every time Dragon appears in this series, especially whenever he does a deliberate action, the weather in the area becomes turbulent starting from rain, lightning strikes, and strong winds. He is often associated with the rain god.
Admiral Ryokugyu's Forest God Theory
Marine Admiral Aramaki (Ryokugyu) is the only candidate who has the power of a God, the God of the Forest. Ryokugyu actually has quite a lot of evidence to support this theory.
Claiming that he has the power given to him by the Logia fruit known as the Mori Mori no Mi (Wood Fruit), Ryokugyu has the power to create, control, and transform himself into living plants.
He has so far proven strong enough to defeat the remnants of the Beasts Pirates and the 9 Scabbards. So far only Yamato and Momonosuke have the strength to actually injure him. But if we refer to the facts, Ryokugyu's devil fruit is a Logia type.
Blackbeard Almost Could Be One of the Gods
The character most likely to have God abilities is Blackbeard. There is a theory that says that actually Blackbeard's devil fruit is an earth type devil fruit. Starting with his original Devil Fruit, the Yami Yami no Mi, Blackbeard is actually very similar to Luffy in that the powers they receive don't always match the specific type of devil fruit they have.
Unlike most Logia types, Blackbeard can't actually transform into his element to avoid attacks or use special techniques.
Another thing to keep in mind is the ultimate power of the fruit, and that is gravity manipulation. Using his Devil Fruit, he can use his darkness to pull things towards him or into a seemingly endless void.
If Luffy's power is about being free to do anything, Blackbeard might be about taking it all.
