Sylveon has arrived in Pokemon GO with the Luminous Legend Y event. Sylveon the Intertwining Pokemon is the Fairy-type evolution of Eevee.

Sylveon is the highly-anticipated Gen VI Kalos Pokemon that Trainers are trying to get to complete their Pokedex in Pokemon GO as it’s the latest Eevee evolution to be released in the game. With the release of Sylveon, Eevee’s evolutions have been completed in the Pokedex.

Similar to other Eevee evolutions, Sylveon can also be obtained using the name trick. The easiest way to evolve Eevee into Sylveon is by renaming it Kira. After that, the button for the evolution will show a silhouette of Sylveon.

Keep in mind that this trick can only be done once. It is advised to save the name trick for a certain Research Task that requires you to evolve your Eevee into Sylveon.

This trick will save you so much time completing the Task. But, try to use the second trick to get Sylveon as there’s currently no rush to make the evolution.

The second trick to get Sylveon is by making Eevee your Buddy Pokemon and earn 70 Buddy Hearts.

Once your Eevee is set as your Buddy, feed it, take a picture of it, pet it, take it to battles and go for a walk with it. All of that will increase Eevee’s Buddy Heart.

In fact, if you do these things every 30 minutes continuously about 4-5 times, the total Buddy Heart that you can get per day will be multiplied 2x.

In at least three days, you can evolve your Eevee into Sylveon. This method is highly recommended given that you can repeat this trick as many times as you want to get Sylveon.
