Shocking news comes from the manga industry, where the series Yami Maid ga Shihai Suru! (The Dark Maid Dominates!) drawn by Akiwo Yasaka and written by Yu Aikawa will soon meet its end. The March issue of Ichijinsha's Comic Zero Sum magazine has revealed that the manga The Dark Maid Dominates! it will conclude its journey in the next issue, which will be published on February 28th.

The Dark Maid Dominates! it was first introduced to readers through the pages of Comic Zero Sum in May 2022. Ichijinsha then published the first volume of the manga in December 2022, and the third volume is scheduled to be released on March 29th 2023.

The Dark Maid Dominates! tells the story of a girl named Natsume Hilbright who has just lost her mother. Even though she had support from her father and friends, the loss still left her with sadness, especially as she approached her first birthday without her mother.

However, a coincidence leads her to meet a boy named Jupiter, who claims to be the prince of the underworld, along with his beautiful servant, Grans.

Previously, Yasaka and Aikawa were also known through their work entitled Jingai-san no Yome which was first published on Ichijinsha's Zero-Sum Online website in June 2016. Ichijinsha then published the final volume of the manga The Dark Maid Dominates! this, the 14th volume, in July 2022.

The two of them also worked on a side manga entitled Jingai-san no Yome: Yoimachi no Miko which inspired an anime series adaptation in October 2018. Crunchyroll is one of the platforms that broadcast this anime when it aired in Japan.

Previously, Aikawa's works, such as the Butterfly manga, had been released in English by Tokyopop, while ComicsOne and DrMaster released his other work Dark Edge. Apart from that, Seven Seas Entertainment has also published a manga by Aikawa and artist Haruno Atori entitled The Seven Princes of the Thousand-Year Labyrinth.

Although The Dark Maid Dominates! will soon end, the stories and characters created by Yasaka and Aikawa will still be remembered by fans.
