The International (TI) 13 is back this year, taking place in September 2024. The world's biggest Dota 2 championship will once again battle for the Aegis, this time at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A total of 16 teams will participate in this 13th edition of the biggest Dota 2 tournament. Among these teams, three Indonesian players have successfully qualified for TI once again, including Whitemon, Mikoto, and Jhocam.

Format

The 16 teams are divided into four groups to compete in the Group Stage. They will play in a Bo2 format, where the top two teams in each group will face off against the 3rd or 4th place teams from the opposing group (A vs B and C vs D) in a Seeding Decider.

Next, these 16 teams will compete in eight Bo3 head-to-head matches to determine their positions in the Main Event. The Main Event features a double-elimination bracket, with 8 teams starting in the upper bracket and 8 teams in the lower bracket. The Grand Final will be played in a Bo5 format.
