Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) fans can look forward to the upcoming game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown, which will be released on May 22, 2025, for PC via Steam. This game blends turn-based strategy with TMNT’s signature beat-em-up elements, offering an exciting new experience for players.

The past few years have been significant for TMNT, with the release of the animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023) and the Tales of the TMNT series. In gaming, TMNT has also been active with the release of TMNT: Splintered Fate and an upcoming game based on The Last Ronin. However, a new threat from the Foot Clan and other villains forces them back into action. The game features 20 levels filled with battles against TMNT’s iconic enemies, bold comic-inspired visuals, and a multi-genre soundtrack by RJ Lake (I Am Your Beast).

Tactical Takedown’s gameplay utilizes a turn-based system where players can strategize, modify load-outs, and coordinate attacks within a diorama-based world. A demo was previously available on Steam in February and will return at the Game Developers Conference on May 16.
