On Wednesday (16/10), PUBG Mobile just release the newest update named 0.15.0 update. This Halloween-themed massive update will bring many updates ranging from new weapons, new vehicles to new game mode and also gameplay.
Let’s discuss them one by one:
New Game Mode: Payload Mode
Payload Mode is a new mode in PUBG that will become substantial addition in EvoGroud mode. In Payload Mode, it will introduce many new weapons and vehicles.
From the beta version, some of the “heavy” weapons such as heat-seeking rocket launchers to grenade launchers are confirmed to be coming in this mode. In this mode, you will be able to fly a helicopter just like CoD Mobile.
What makes this mode different compared to the classic battle royale mode in PUBG Mobile is that in this mode you can revive your dead teammates. Of course you cannot revived all of them, there are some conditions that must be met before reviving your dead teammates in Payload mode.
Although 0.15.0 update has been released yesterday, this mode is still “sealed” by PUBG Mobile. But on their official Twitter account, PUBG Mobile announced that Payload mode will be unlocked soon.
Zombie Updates: Survive Till Dawn 2
PUBG Mobile is no stranger to zombie mode via Survive Till Dawn 2 mode and also Darkest Night. To welcome Halloween at the end of this month, PUBG Mobile is renewing Survive Till 2 Dawn 2 mode with a Halloween vibe.
In the 0.15.0 update, the zombie in Survive Till Dawn 2 mode now uses pumpkin as its head accessory. The horror movie “It” in PUBG Mobile also presents several killer clowns who will attack the players who enter the place where these clowns gather.
But unfortunately Survive Till Dawn 2 mode will be the only zombie mode in PUBG Mobile 0.15.0 update due to the removal of Darkest Night mode.
Adapt new features from PUBG on PC
As previously reported in the latest PUBG Mobile update, the players can already taste the ledge grab feature. With this feature, the players can hold on the edge of the roof of a building before finally climbing up. With this new feature, the players will be able to reach new places that are unexplored before.
In addition to the addition of ledge grab feature, in this game you can now blow up fuel drums. Both of these new features are available on the PC version of PUBG before being adapted to the mobile version.
New Weapons and Vehicles
In the latest PUBG Mobile update, the players can finally use the legendary Desert Eagle gun. Using .45ACP ammo with a seven round magazine bullets, this gun has the most damage compared to other guns in this game.
This update also features a new vehicle that replaces the UAZ Armored car. This new vehicle has the official name BRDM-2 and has a similar design as Barracuda in Indonesia. Just like Armored UAZ, the tires and the body of the BRDM-2 is also bulletproof.
With so many features and new modes available, it seems that PUBG Mobile is trying to reclaim the throne as the King of war mobile game which is now being threatened by CoD Mobile.
Which one do you like the most? PUBG Mobile or CoD Mobile?
