In Pokemon Unite, you can choose from a wide array of different Pokemon. And, on this occasion, the writer would like to give you a tier list of all the Pokemon in Pokemon Unite and rank them in order of their effectiveness.

In Pokemon Unite, the Pokemon are divided into 5 categories: Attacker; Defender; Speedster; Supporter; and All-Rounder, and the writer will rank them based on these categories.

However, keep in mind that this is just the writer’s opinion as each Pokemon comes with its strengths and weaknesses. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Attackers

Attackers tend to have low Endurance yet they can dish out a significant amount of damage. Usually, Attackers are the main damage dealers in the team, able to inflict damage from a close or long-range.

S Tier: Pikachu

Pikachu is the best long-range Pokemon in Pokemon Unite. Pikachu can stun targets from a safe distance while also inflicting massive damage with its attacks. Aside from that, Pikachu is quite easy to learn, making it one of the best Pokemon for beginners.

S Tier: Cramorant

After Pikachu, another amazing Attacker in the game is Cramorant. This Flying-type Pokemon can be quite tricky to master at first. But once you get a grasp of its mechanics, Cramorant can easily become a deadly Pokemon in Pokemon Unite.

A Tier: Alolan Ninetales

Alolan Ninetales is probably the most annoying Pokemon in Pokemon Unite. With its abilities, Alolan Ninetales can freeze any target in front of it, leaving them frozen for a while.

A Tier: Cinderace

Cinderace is another Pokemon that can poke its targets from a safe distance and has high mobility. If the player knows how to use it, Cinderace can become a deadly Pokemon in fights.

B Tier: Gardevoir

Gardevoir is another Attacker that’s quite difficult to master, which means it’s not suitable for beginners. Its powerful ranged attacks allow Gardevoir to pierce through the enemies’ defense easily. Gardevoir is a Pokemon that scales well into the late game.

C Tier: Venusaur

As a Pokemon who has the ability to evolve, Venusaur’s abilities are rather sub-par, which makes it less significant than other Attackers in fights. However, Venusaur is one of the best Pokemon for beginners.

C Tier: Greninja

Greninja is a terribly weak Pokemon, especially during the early game phase. If it hasn’t reached higher levels, Greninja doesn’t have much to offer in fights. 

Defenders

As the name suggests, Defenders are Pokemon that are designed to protect their allies. Almost every Defender shares the same rank on this list as they’re equally great at being the meatshield for the team.

S Tier: Snorlax

With its Block and Yawn, Snorlax can make its targets down for a few moments. This gives allies the opportunity to gank the targets. In addition to that, Snorlax has incredibly high Endurance, which allows it to withstand attacks really well.

S Tier: Blastoise

Blastoise may seem like a weak Defender in the early game. But, once you have its Unite Move available, Blastoise will become a formidable Pokemon. With its abilities, Blastoise can easily change the course of the game.

S Tier: Crustle

Crustle is the best Pokemon you can use to harass your opponents and put the opposing team in disarray. Crustle is arguably one of the most annoying Pokemon in Pokemon Unite.

A Tier: Slowbro

The last Defender is Slowbro, who has to be in the A Tier. With its abilities, Slowbro can easily take control of the fights and give the allies the opportunity to secure kills easily.

Speedsters

Speedsters are the equal of Assassins in Pokemon Unite as they possess high mobility as well as great damage output. Speedsters often become the Carry in the team.

S Tier: Zeraora

Zeraora is a Pokemon with a deadly Unite Move called Plasma Gale. This ability not only allows it to dish out an insane amount of damage but also enhances its basic attacks for few seconds. Most importantly, Zeraora is an easy Pokemon to use.

S Tier: Absol

Absol is a Speedster with deadly critical attacks. Thanks to its Psycho Cut and Sucker Punch, this Pokemon can inflict a crazy amount of damage. However, Absol isn’t the easiest Pokemon to use as its mechanics is quite different than most Pokemon.

A Tier: Gengar

Gengar is a Speedster with decent mobility. Its Levitate allows it to jump in and out of fights with ease. Unfortunately, Gengar has to level up to compete with the opposing team as it is pretty easy to counter it.

A Tier: Talonflame

Talonflame is an incredibly nimble Pokemon in Pokemon Unite. Unfortunately, Talonflame has to focus on leveling during the first minutes to actually reach its potentials, which means you’re going to rely on your allies before you can get involved in fights.

Supporters

As the name implies, Supporters’ main task is to provide allies support by using heals or buffs to help the team take the enemies down.

S Tier: Blissey

Blissey is the perfect Pokemon for its healing in Pokemon Unite. On top of that, Blissey can also increase allies’ damage output. But, Blissey can be so reliant on allies to get the best out of its abilities.

S Tier: Wigglytuff

If you’re looking for a Support Pokemon with various kinds of buffs, then Wigglytuff is the perfect Pokemon for you! Wigglytuff can Stun targets and even put them to sleep. 

A Tier: Eldegoss

Eldegoss is another great healer. Eldegoss also has decent damage output for a Supporter.

B Tier: Mr. Mime

Mr. Mime is a Supporter whose abilities make it feels like a Defender. Mr. Mime can create a barrier to separate targets and push them away from Mr. Mime and allies.

All-Rounders

All-Rounders are Pokemon with well-balanced Offense and Endurance -- these Pokemon are the equal of Fighters in other MOBA games. All-Rounders usually play certain parts of a Defender’s role in fights.

S Tier: Lucario

Thanks to its high mobility, Lucario can jump into fights and dish out a tremendous amount of damage with its Extreme Speed. Lucario’s Bone Rush allows it to make maneuvers in fights.

S Tier: Machamp

Machamp is a Pokemon with amazing Basic Attacks. Machamp can easily run through enemies and do massive damage. Defenders will find it difficult to withstand Machamp’s attacks.

A Tier: Garchomp

Garchomp is a strong Pokemon yet it has one glaring weakness: it requires a long time to evolve. Once it’s evolved, Garchomp can perform so many deadly moves. Garchomp can easily annihilate opponents in fights.

B Tier: Charizard

Charizard is a seemingly powerful Pokemon, yet it’s actually a mediocre one. Charizard only relies on its Unite Move in the late game phase. Needless to say, Charizard is arguably the weakest All-Rounder Pokemon in the game.
