For the first time ever, Garena held an international online tournament titled AOV Premier League 2020 (APL 2020). With the theme “Fight for Your Region”, 14 teams from four countries; Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Chinese Taipei, will compete for the title, and bring home the grand prize of IDR 5 billion.

Indonesia will send 2 representatives, one of them is going to be DG Esports due to their achievement in winning the ASL Season 4 half-season. Whereas for the second slot, it will be contested by the top 3 teams of ASL Season 4 in qualifiers on May 31.

The APL 2020 itself will be held on June 19 to July 26 and will consist of three main rounds, Group Stage, Quarter Final, and Grand Final.
