The Indonesian PUBG Mobile National Team has successfully qualified for the Grand Final of the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, and has the opportunity to win a medal.

The Indonesian National Esports Team number PUBG Mobile managed to win a place in the Grand Final after fighting for four sets in the Round of 8 matches of the 19th Asian Games in Esports which took place at the China Hangzhou Esports Center on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 14.00 local time, or 13.00 West Indonesia Time (WIB) (GMT+7)

In this match, the PUBG Mobile Indonesia National Team managed to finish second in Group B with a total time of 52 minutes and 21 seconds. Meanwhile, the host nation, China, took first place with a total time of 50 minutes and 16 seconds.

The third and fourth places were achieved by Thailand with a total time of 55 minutes and 36 seconds, and Hong Kong with a total time of 1 hour and 4 minutes, respectively.

Richard Permana, Deputy Head Coach of the Indonesian National Esports Team, said, "We are very proud of the struggle and high spirit shown by the Indonesian National Esports Team number PUBG Mobile during today's match. We are certainly ready to use our abilities to the maximum to win medals. "We ask all people in Indonesia to provide prayers and support for the success of the Indonesian National Esports Team number PUBG Mobile in the Grand Final match tomorrow," he concluded.

Meanwhile, an Athlete from the Indonesian National Esports Team for PUBG Mobile, Vebriyano Akbar Maulana, was also proud of the success of the Indonesian National Esports Team for PUBG Mobile in winning a place in the Grand Final Round. Vebriyano added that the 19th Asian Games was the first international competition he participated in.

The plan is that the PUBG Mobile Indonesia National Team will face South Korea, Chinese Taipei, and China in the Grand Final of the 19th Asian Games which will take place on Sunday, (1/10) at 19.00 Hangzhou time/18.00 West Indonesia Time. The Indonesian National Esports Team PUBG Mobile athletes who will compete tomorrow include Fajar Octa Ramadhan, Alan Raynold Kumaseh, T.M. Kausar, Juventino Ryan Jeremy Rolos, and Vebryano Akbar Maulana.
