Chamber is the newest Agent in VALORANT who has a unique kit that allows him to teleport and grants him free Sheriff and a much stronger Operator. While he may sound OP, this Agent can be tricky to main, and there are certain tips that you should know to understand his strengths and weaknesses.

How to Maximize Chamber’s Abilities

Trademark (C)

This ability is rather simple, it allows Chamber to place a trap that scans for opponents. When a visible enemy comes in range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around them, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it. Trademark is arguably similar to Killjoy’s Alarmbot.

The thing that separates Trademark from Alarmbot is that this utility can be seen by opponents. Thus, you need to place it in areas that can’t be seen so easily by the opponents.

Furthermore, Trademark can also be activated wherever. It makes this ability one of his best to prevent a rush or a flank.

Headhunter (Q)

Headhunter grants Chamber a better Sheriff. Each Headhunter bullet costs 100 credits, with a max of eight bullets. 

There are some reasons why Headhunter is much more powerful than a regular Sheriff. First, you can aim down sights for better accuracy. And, Headhunter also inflicts 159 damage if you manage to get a headshot, regardless of the distance. Whereas Sheriff only does 145 damage from 50 meters.

Headhunter can be so deadly during a Pistol Round or Saving Round.

Rendezvous (E)

Rendezvous is an ability that allows Chamber to place down two teleport anchors. When in range of an anchor, you can reactivate this skill to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up and redeployed. However, the distance between the anchors is limited. So, you need to be creative. 

When Defending, you can use Rendezvous at two safe points of a site. For example, put one anchor in Heaven, and the other in Hell. This will catch the opposing team off guard, especially if you manage to secure a kill and teleport to the other end of the anchors.

When in Attacking, Rendezvous can be used for a much more aggressive playstyle. For example, you can put one anchor in a strategic place in the back, and the other in the front. Chamber can teleport back after peeking -- similar to how you’d play Jett’s Tailwind.

Chamber can also position himself to a higher position early in the buying phase. Meaning that he can secure off-angle corners to ambush opponents.

Tour de Force (X)

Tour de Force is an ability that grants Chamber a free sniper rifle that is much more powerful than the regular Operator. Tour de Force can get you a free kill if you manage to hit a target (regardless of where they’re hit). Upon securing a kill, Tour de Force also creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it (just like Trademark).

Tour de Force also has a higher velocity than the regular Operator -- it’s basically similar to Marshal as you can also quick scope using Tour de Force. However, this weapon only has five bullets, and can’t be reloaded.

You can use Rendezvous when peeking with Tour de Force to teleport to a safer location after making your shots.
