According to Rossezy, one of the biggest SCAR-L’s strengths is its high rate of fire, the second-highest in the AR category right behind the M416. Aside from that, SCAR-L also has a suitable spread for close combats. “(SCAR-L) has high Fire Rate, and is suitable for close combats with its spread,” said Rossezy.

Rossezy also mentioned one of the biggest weaknesses the SCAR-L has, namely is its recoil, which declines as the distance increases. “This weapon also has an irregular recoil when using the x4 scope,” he added.

ONIC Rossezy’s Tips on How to Use the SCAR-L

Rossezy also shared some tips for players who want to master the SCAR-L. According to him, for Support players, this weapon should be used as the primary weapon since it shares several characteristics with the M416.

“As a Support, I personally prefer the SCAR-L as a primary as it’s not much different than the M4, and (the secondary) should be a sniper rifle for long-range (combats). As for Rushers, the SCAR-L can be used as the secondary with the M4 as the primary,” he revealed.

When it comes to attachments, Rossezy recommended the Flash Hider to reduce the vertical/horizontal recoil, Half/Angle Grip for stability, Extended Quickdraw Mag to increase ammo capacity and better reload speed. You can pick a scope that suits your situation and needs.

On the other hand, Rossezy also suggested that players don’t always rely too much on the M416 as it’d be better for them to be more flexible in using other weapons. He also mentioned that the SCAR-L isn’t that difficult to master as it only takes practice to get used to it.

“For its recoil, it can actually be mastered as long as you’re willing to spend some time using the SCAR-L. It is better not to be overly reliant on the M4. You don’t have to always use the M4!,” he concluded.
