The monthly event for July in Pokemon GO is just around the corner. The Community Day for July 2021 will start on July 3, featuring Tepig.

From 11 AM - 5 PM local time, Tepig will spawn more frequently. Along with the start of this event, Shiny Tepig will also be released for the first time.

Trainers will have a bigger chance of catching Shiny Tepig during this event. So, make sure to take advantage of this opportunity and add the Shiny to your Pokedex. After the event, it’ll be significantly more difficult to get a Shiny Tepig.

Prepare two Incense to participate in the event for the entire 6 hours as 1 Incense will last for 3 hours (instead of just 1).

Aside from that, the Lure Module will also last for 3 hours at the Pokestop. Bring lots of Pokeballs, Great Balls, or even Ultra Balls before the event so you won’t lose any opportunity during the event. Especially if you don’t have access to any Pokestop/Gym to refill your items.

Apart from the Pokestop and Gym, you can also get items from opening Gifts that your friends sent you.

The reward from this event is 3x Stardust from catching Pokemon. So, it’d be better if you’ve had prepared some Star Pieces. That way, each catch will grant you a total of 4.5x Stardust.

This will be the perfect time for Trainers to farm and earn lots of Stardust. Don’t forget to evolve Tepig-Pignite into Emboar to get the special Tepig Community Day moveset: Blast Burn (Fire-type).

To get this special move, be sure to evolve into Emboar during the event (11 AM - 7 PM local time).

Don’t forget to look for a great IV combination for Emboar in the Great League & Ultra League. Try to get 0/14/9 for Great League, and 0/15/14 for Ultra League.

You can also purchase tickets for the Roasted Berries Special Research for IDR 5,000 at the Shop. It’s okay if you don’t want to make the purchase as you can still take part in the Tepig Community Day.

You can take snapshots of your Pokemon and get a Tepig photobomb + spawn for 5x during the event. Good luck getting your Shiny Tepig and lots of Stardust in this event, Trainers!
