Indonesians must be proud of the arrival of another game made by a local studio that will introduce the beauty of Bali with a puzzle-adventure game, Tirta. Tirta is a game made by Agate and partnered with Telkom to introduce the beauty of Bali and its culture not only for local players but also international ones.

This game has been drafted since the end of 2018 and technically starred development in 2019. Currently, this PS5 game with Unreal Engine has entered the pre-alpha phase, and no release date confirmed so far.

“Tirta is currently entering the pre-alpha phase, and still 20% in development. We are also actively looking for partners to develop this game further together,” said Igor Tanzil as the CMO & CCO of Agate.

Bali is known for its beauty in the culture and environment by people worldwide, and Tirta will introduce local talents and capacity in Indonesian developers to the international market. All the aspects in Tirta are developed carefully by Agate to compete with other puzzle adventure games like Zelda and Genshin Impact.

“The challenge of developing this game is because this is a new game that we’re currently developing, so during the development’s process, we are very careful to create the pipeline, design, and the gameplay’s mechanism,” said Cipto Adiguna as the VP of Consumer Games in Agate.
