He then renames himself as Kamen Rider, who becomes known as "Kamen Rider No. 1," and vows to fight against SHOCKER. Sosuke Ikematsu managed to give this role a strong and passionate character feel, enthralling the audience with Takeshi's struggles and adventures.

2. Ruriko Midorikawa

Ruriko is a woman who helps Hongo in his war against the SHOCKER organization. She reveals that SHOCKER is actually a secret society that was originally founded by a billionaire with the goal of leading humanity to happiness. However, the billionaire eventually committed suicide, and SHOCKER fell into the hands of an artificial intelligence that misinterpreted the will of its creator.

They believe that humanity's salvation lies in conquest. At the request of the government, Hongo and Ruriko managed to defeat several Augs (cyborgs) created by SHOCKER. Minami Hamabe manages to bring Ruriko's character to life with compassion and courage, making her a strong woman who is no less important in the battle against evil.

3. Hayato Ichimonji

Hayato is a photojournalist who originally worked for SHOCKER before eventually being made into Grasshopper-Aug 02. He is actually a soldier whose mind was manipulated by SHOCKER. However, thanks to his courage and determination, Hayato managed to break free from their influence and rename himself as Kamen Rider No. 2.

He then joins Takeshi in the fight against SHOCKER. Tasuku Emoto puts a strong spin on Hayato's character, showing his transformation from someone who was once an enemy to a loyal ally and fight for the truth.

4. Hiromi

Hiromi is a senior member of SHOCKER and Ruriko's childhood friend. She can transform into Wasp-Aug, one of SHOCKER's Augs. At the request of the government, Hongo and Ruriko manage to defeat several Augs, including Hiromi, who turns out to be Ruriko's only friend turned Wasp-Aug.

When Hongo refuses to kill her, Hiromi ends up being shot by one of the nameless agents who used the Scorpion-Aug poison. Hiromi's complex character and her struggles evoke the emotions of the audience, bringing drama and emotional depth that captivates.

5. Ichiro Midorikawa

Ichiro is the son of Dr. Midorikawa, Ruriko's older brother, and the most powerful senior member of SHOCKER because he can transform into the Butterfly-Aug mutant. Previously, he named himself as Kamen Rider No. 0. Ichiro's background story is told in a spin-off manga titled There is no true peace in this world: Shin Masked Rider SHOCKER Side.

Mirai Moriyama delivers an impressive performance as the character Ichiro, with a complex personality and deep inner struggles making him a riveting character.

6. Dr. Hiroshi Midorikawa

Dr. Hiroshi Midorikawa is the father of Ruriko and Ichiro. He is the brain behind Augment's creation, including Takeshi Hongo as Kamen Rider. Dr. Midorikawa created Augment with the aim of defeating the SHOCKER organization. Dr. Motivation Midorikawa for Hongo came from his inability to protect Hongo's father, a policeman who died when he faced a dangerous suspect.

After losing his father, Hongo became obsessed with wanting to have enough strength to protect those he loves, and that is why Dr. Midorikawa chose it as his Augment creation.
