Total War PHARAOH Presents High Tide Update
The Sea Peoples were a group of nomadic warriors who crossed the Mediterranean Sea to take advantage of the chaos that occurred during the Bronze Age Collapse. With ancient empires like Egypt, Canaan, and the Hittites embroiled in total war, the Sea Peoples land on the chaotic shores to fight, ravage, and conquer all. As a horde faction, the Sea Peoples must stay on the warpath to survive, and only through continued conquest can the Sherden and Peleset survive and achieve victory.
FACTION FOCUS: SHERDEN
Lead the Sherden horde with Iolaos, a young and passionate explorer who has one goal: to lead his warband towards the rising sun, ravaging and sacrificing everything as a ceremony to the gods.
Game Mechanics
The Sherden are a nomadic horde that relies on continuous conquest for survival. Take advantage of the new Spoils of War mechanic to ravage cities for additional resources, establish Nuraghe Camps to strengthen troops on the campaign trail, and use new Eminence resources to assert dominance over other Sea Peoples tribes and absorb them into the horde.
New Units
Take control of a variety of new units, including Nuraghe Warriors who can form a turtle-like protective formation when advancing, Harpooneers who hurl deadly spiked javelins, and Sherden Archers who release sulfur-tipped arrows that ignite the ground beneath the enemy's feet.
FACTION FOCUS: MADE
Witness the collapse of the Bronze Age with Walwetes, the giant patriarch leading the second faction, The Peleset. They set out to sea after their empire was destroyed, looking for a new home, and were willing to build it on the ruins of the ancient world.
Game Mechanics
The Peleset are a Nomadic/Settled hybrid horde that can set up camps and occupy cities on the campaign map. Spoils of War and Eminence became friends in balancing the need to stay on the warpath with the need to settle down, creating the foundation for the new Peleset empire that would take shape in the hearth of the Bronze Age Ruins.
New Units
Master all new units, including detachable Oxen Carts, Peleset Marines who unleash a hail of javelins before engaging in close combat, and Peleset Raiders, elite, aggressive infantry that move fast and hit hard.
