Back in January this year, Toei Animation announced a reboot of Digimon Adventure, and then on Saturday (7/3), the studio finally released a trailer for Digimon Adventure. In the 30 minutes trailer, Digimon fans can see the beginning of Taichi’s relationship with his Digimon partner, Agumon.

From its visual, the trailer of this new Digimon gives us a modern look and looks fresh compared to the original version which is already 20 years old. Sadly, Toei Animation don’t give the other chosen children visual alongside their Digimon partner. Hopefully, in the next trailer, we can see what they look like in this stunning reboot.

Digimon Adventure reboot is scheduled to air in Japan on April 5 and the English version will follow suit. Reported from Comicbook.com, this anime will follow the original storyline but it’s yet to be announced whether this anime will have the original voice actor to reprise their role or having a recast.

Surely many old fans are hoping for the old voice actors to reprise their roles in this show with fresher looks. Back in Digimon: Last Evolution Kizuna, the original voice actors are back to voice their grown-up characters, so fans can hope for it.
