CAPCOM presented the new  trailer for the fighting game Street Fighter 6 coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

This trailer highlights the story in single player mode, World Tour. Street Fighter 6 will launch on June 2, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

One of the new features in Street Fighter 6 is the real-time commentary, which engages well-known commentators from the fighting game community to explain various aspects of the match as it is taking place.

This feature will be supported with subtitles in 13 languages, and the commentators involved include Thea Trinidad (also known as Zelina Vega), Vicious, Aru, Japanese commentator, and caster Kosuke Hiraiwa, and Sekima II vocalist Demon Kakka (formerly known as Demon Kogure).

Returning characters include Ryu, Chun-li, and Luke, the last playable DLC character in Street Fighter V. Meanwhile, there's also a new character named Jamie, a martial artist who incorporates breakdancing moves into his fighting style.

The character roster at launch will also include well-known characters such as Manon, Kimberly, Marisa, Lily, JP, Juri, Dee Jay, Cammy, E. Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Zangief, and Dhalsim. There are also plans to release DLC characters in a few rounds in the future.

The first round will involve the return of Rashid in the summer of 2023, the appearance of a new character named A.K.I. in fall 2023, then the pre-existing character, Ed, will return in winter 2024, and finally Akuma will also be returning in spring 2024. Players can choose to purchase the characters individually or acquire them all through season pass.

In addition to the pre-existing battle modes, such as local and online versus mode, arcade mode, and practice mode, the game also offers a single player mode "World Tour" which brings new experiences, as well as "Battle Hub" which gives players the opportunity to engage , communicate, and interact in unique ways. The "Extreme Battle" mode will also be available.
