After releasing 8 episodes telling the story of the East Blue Saga, the Netflix version of One Piece Live Action was considered successful because it made fans satisfied. Many say that OPLA is Netflix's first live action that didn't fail. It is even very possible that this series will continue into a second season.

The producer of One Piece Live Action said that the script for One Piece Live Action season 2 has been prepared. It is possible that the second season will be released next year, exactly 12-18 months after the first season finishes.
