Philippines to Host KIC 2025, Winners Will Receive Special Skins!

On Thursday, July 24, 2025, information regarding the host of KIC 2025 was announced by James Yang via the Honor of Kings Indonesia and HoK Esports YouTube channels. As we know, we are already halfway through 2025, which means we will enter a new competitive season at the end of 2025.

James Yang announced that the Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC) 2025 will be held in the Philippines this November. Additionally, James stated that there are updates to KIC 2025: the team that wins this year's KIC will receive their own hero skin.

"Then, in the second half of 2025, we will continue to highlight these stories through larger tournaments, with easier entry requirements so players have more opportunities to make history. An even more exciting and epic global esports tournament: the Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC), will be held this November in the Philippines!" said James Yang.

"The latest KIC will bring a deeper local culture and will get you excited! This time, the focus is on global teams. The 16 best teams will face off in their respective countries for the championship title and a prize pool of millions of dollars. Furthermore, there's even more exciting news: the KIC champion team will receive their own hero skin! And the KIC winners will also become new challengers!" added James Yang.

Not only that, James Yang also stated that the top three teams in KIC 2025 will become new challengers in the Honor of Kings Challenger Cup tournament.

"The top three teams in the KIC will go on to compete representing their respective countries in the Challenger Cup in China this December," he concluded.
