Seven Jutsus In Naruto That Received an Upgrade in Boruto Series

Not only introducing a new generation of ninjas, but it turns out that some Jutsus introduced in Naruto become stronger in the Boruto series!

As an action anime series, Naruto manga and anime series have shown various impressive techniques or Jutsus. But it turns out that some of those Jutsus received an upgrade in Boruto anime series. Don't believe us? Then check this out!

7. Kakuremino no Jutsu

The disguise technique learned by Academy students at Ninja Academy. When covering the user using a cloak while standing still, they can cover their position with the surroundings and unnoticed by people.

In Boruto Episode 7, an academy student named Magire Kakuremino can use this technique to the point he went invisible and move freely.

6. Isshi Tojin > Tajuu Isshi Tojin

The kekkai Jutsu or sealing techniques that can stop the target. In Naruto Shippuden Episode 275, Iruka once using it to prevent Naruto from going to Genbu Island.

While in Boruto Episode 37, Boruto and friends using the combination version, Tajuu Isshi Tojin (Multiple String Light Formation) to face against Academy teachers and forcing them to graduate into Genin.

5. Suiro no Jutsu

This water prison technique is a technique mastered by Kirigakure ninjas. From a water source, the user can cage the enemies into a giant water ball -- as long as their hands (or the user’s Kage Bunshin (Shadow Clone)) always touching or inside the water ball/ prison.

But in Boruto Episode 28, it is seen Shizuma Hoshigaki can cage Boruto and Kagura Karatachi from afar and even lifting them to the sky.

4. Choju Giga

Sai’s signature move. He can draw moving drawings in black and white for offensive and transportation usages. Meanwhile, his son, Inojin Yamanaka, can create the colored version; and once telling that his father’s version is out of date.

3. Kageshibari no Jutsu

2. Mizudeppo no Jutsu > Elemen Air: Suireiha

Mizudeppo no Jutsu is a water gun technique that can only be launched by Hozuki Clan; due to their Suika no Jutsu (Hydrification Technique) kekkei genkai, they can shoot high-speed water from their fingertip after forming a finger gun gesture.

Meanwhile, Suireiha (Water Spirit Wave) is a water gun technique that seems can be launched by anyone who mastered Water Release. By creating a finger gun, they can shoot water bullets to enemies with similar damage. Sumire Kakei uses it while facing Mitsuki in Boruto Episode 14.

1. Rasengan > Kieru Rasengan

The last one is the latest version of Rasengan; Kieru Rasengan or vanishing Rasengan that serves as Boruto’s signature Jutsu. It’s different than usual Rasengan that comes without any elements or Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, due to the addition of Electricity Element, Boruto’s Rasengan can be thrown and can vanish on the way to trick enemies.So that’s the list of seven Jutsus that receive an improvement.
