Ubisoft has a lot of triple-A game franchises that are still running until today and one of them is Far Cry. the previous series titled Far Cry: New Dawn received various responses that may not satisfy a lot of its fans. Along with that, there’s another rumor that claimed that the next Far Cry is going to be announced soon.

Citing GameReactor.dk, Ubisoft is playing to officially announce Far Cry 6 in Ubisoft Forward. According to the source, Far Cry 6 is set in an exotic location and not in the United States. If the rumor is true, the game is hoped to be released before April 2021 for the current-gen and next-gen console. But looking at the current health crisis, Ubisoft may postpone the release.

The new Far Cry is set in an exotic location, so it signs that the location is nothing like the past series. Ubisoft also started a survey to determine the location gamer wants to play-in in the next Far Cry. unfortunately, the location is still unknown. There’s also a bit of hint from voice actor Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 that hinted that he will make a return via Reddit. 

Ubisoft is yet to confirm when Far Cry 6 is going to be announced. But looking at how Ubisoft usually does things and the existing facts, the rumor is too good to be bogus. Let’s wait for Far Cry 6 in Ubisoft Forward that will announce one triple-A game from Ubisoft that will be held in 12 July 2020.
