As always, with each Free Fire patch update, we see new maps, characters, weapons, and features added, along with adjustments to existing characters and weapons, including buffs, nerfs, and reworks. It's essential to stay informed about the changes in the FF 2025 May edition update.

FF 2025 Update May Edition: Weapon Buffs and Nerfs You Should Know!

The following are some of the weapon changes in Free Fire in the May edition of the FF 2025 update:

  • Assault Rifles (Buff): SCAR, M4A1, M14, FAMAS, AUG, Groza, PLASMA
    • M14 I-III: Armor Penetration +10%, Damage to Gloo Wall +30%
    • SCAR I-III: Damage +3%, Damage to Gloo Wall +30%
    • M4A1 I-III: Damage +5%, Damage to Gloo Wall +30%
    • Groza/Groza X: Damage to Gloo Wall +30%
    • FAMAS I-III: Damage to Gloo Wall +20%
    • AUG I-III: Damage to Gloo Wall +20%
    • PLASMA: Damage to Gloo Wall +50%
  • Machine Guns (Buff): M60 + M249
    • M60 I-III: Magazine becomes 70, Armor Penetration +8%, Movement Speed ​​when shooting +20%
    • M249/M249 X: Armor Penetration +8%, Movement Speed ​​when shooting 10%
  • Heal Pistol (Buff): Accuracy +20%
  • Trogon (Grenade Launcher mode) (Buff): Damage +15%, Range +10% (Remember, this is for the Grenade Launcher only)
  • Kord (Rework): When standing, fires three low-power bullets at high speed. When crouching, fires one high-power bullet at medium speed.
  • VSS (Rework): Removed bleeding effect and upgrade mechanism. Added 3-bullet auto-burst mechanism, significantly increasing fire rate, accuracy and magazine capacity.
  • Heal Pistol-Y: Heals surviving teammates for 25HP by shooting them: revives fallen teammates by shooting them (not affected by Thiva). No support limit.

Here are some other important things you should know:

  • Bullet trails from off-screen enemies are now more visible, making it easier to identify shots from high or hard-to-see positions.
  • Attacks that penetrate Gloo Walls now display clearer visual effects when hitting a Gloo Wall.
  • Optimized weapon sounds when hitting Gloo Walls, Armor, Body, Destructible Crates.
