Riot Games, today, revealed their much awaited tactical shooter video game, VALORANT, that will be released in summer 2020 for many regions around the world.

VALORANT, so far is codenamed “Project A”, which emphasizes on accurate skills, high stakes, deadly games, and fierce moments that put forward a creative fighting style.

In VALORANT, the players will choose the ready-to-combat characters that based on real locations and cultures, each of them has a set of unique abilities that are certainly very interesting to use.

"In developing VALORANT, we want to maintain the fundamental value of competitive tactical shooter games: accurate shooting, deadly weaponry and strategic execution," said the Executive Producer, Anna Donlon.

"By adding unique character abilities that complement the in-game weapons strategy, we believe we are developing the traditional tactical shooter experience further and bringing something new to this genre - and we hope the launch of VALORANT will be the beginning of a long-term relationship with the fans of tactical FPS from around the world," she added.

Because bringing high-fidelity gaming experience and maintaining competitive integrity are the most important things in VALORANT, Riot Games invests in the best revolutionary technical back-end in its class to support this game - including: 128-tick server dedicated to all global players (for free); custom netcode for accurate shot registration; authoritative game server architecture; and patented anti-cheating prevention and detection right from the start.
