In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, there are hundreds or even thousands of versions of Spider-Man from many universes. There are several unique Spider-Man such as Spider-Cat and Spider-Rex that you may not have known before. Plus there is a Spider-Man who doesn't look like Spider-Man in general.
The Dunia Games team will discuss several versions of Spider-Man that also appear in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Let's see in more detail.
1. Black Spider-Man
Not Venom, but Spider-Man in a black suit. This version of Spider-Man is a version of Miles Morales, the word black itself which refers to Miles who is indeed a person of black descent. Miles' Spider-Man version is definitely an interesting version, because apart from having basic Spider-Man strengths, Miles also has other unique powers. This power is electricity which he named as Venom Blast, then followed by the power of camouflage.
2. Spider-Man 2099
A Spider-Man from the future 2099 on Earth-928. This Spider-Man's identity is Miguel O'Hara, a bio-engineer whose DNA is biologically mixed with that of a spider. Not only has the same abilities as Peter Parker, Miguel also has a number of unique strengths himself. The power is telepathy to send messages to other people's minds at will. The uniqueness of Spider-Man 2099 itself is also from the technology it has, a time travel device. In addition, the clothes he built used unstable molecules so that they could match his strength.
3. Spider Woman
Behind her mask, Spider-Woman is better known as Jessica Drew, a woman who was once a member of HYDRA and turned S.H.I.E.L.D. Jessica could become Spider-Woman because her father injected her with a serum taken from spider DNA. As a result, Jessica has powers like Peter Parker's Spider-Man in general. But what's interesting about Jessica isn't just her super strength, but her fast healing techniques, as well as her motorbike, which she often involves in her actions.
4. Spider-Gwen
Spider-Gwen is also included as one of the Spider-Woman, because indeed behind that mask there is a woman named Gwen Stacy. But instead of being called Spider-Woman, this version of Spider-Man is instead known and referred to as Spider-Gwen by his fans. By getting the power from Peter Parker in universe 616, Gwen also has the power of Spider-Man. What's more interesting, with his talent as a Drummer, it can help him carry out some very complicated web attacks that are impossible for an ordinary Spider-Man to do.
5. Spider-Punk
Spider-Punk is another version of Spider-Man whose style is similar to that of a punk kid. The alter ego of Spider-Man is not Peter Parker, but Hobie Brown, a homeless teenager who was bitten by a radioactive spider from the waste. Besides his quirky appearance, Spider-Punk is Spider-Man who also has his own unique strengths. This power comes from the guitar that he always carries, which can emit quite a powerful sound.
6. Cyborg Spider-Woman
The Spider-Man version turns out to be in the form of a female robot, the Cyborg Spider-Woman who was in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Actually she is an additional character whose role and information is quite little to know. But from what is known, Cyborg Spider-Woman allegedly has super powers like cyborgs in general, but these powers are certainly accompanied by the unique powers of Spider-Man.
7. Indian Spider-Man
Is Spider-Man who comes from India in the Earth-50101 universe. He is Pavitr Prabhakar whose story is almost the same as Peter Parker, but everything happens in the Indian version. The only difference from Peter Parker, however, is the way he gets his spider abilities, not from a radioactive spider but from an ancient yogi hermit. Spider-Man India has the same power as Peter Parker, but in Across the Spider-Verse, Pravitr has a difference in his web shooter which is seen using a yo-yo.
8. Spider-Rex
Earth-66 is a prehistoric world featuring dinosaur versions of several Marvel characters, including Peter Parker's Pter Ptarker, aka Spider-Rex. Even though it's ridiculous, Spider-Rex is indeed a variant of Spider-Man from the comics that actually appears in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Even though he only appears for a few minutes and seems to be just for comedy, this Spider-Man variant certainly has strong strength like a T-Rex, as well as agility like Spider-Man. So surely Spider-Rex will be hard to beat.

9. Scarlet Spider
Scarlet Spider is one of the Spider-Man who first appeared in the webcomic series of Spider-Man #118. Beneath his mask, he is a man named Benjamin Reilly, a human clone of the original Spider-Man played by The Jackal (Miles Warren). Like Peter Parker, this Spider-Man clearly has basic Spider-Man strengths. But what's interesting about him is the mind that Peter Parker can share, considering he's indeed an evil clone of Spider-Man to fight him.
10. Spider-Byte
Spider-Byte comes from Earth-22191, where most of humanity has gone virtual. Margo Kess who realized there was an error tried to hack the system and instead it turned him into a virtual Spider-Man who was reliable in technology. Basically Spider-Byte can't do physical combat, like what happened in Across the Spider-Verse. But with his technological prowess, he can also have tools and play an important role in maintaining the balance of the Spider-Verse.
11. Spider-Cat
Not only is there a form of a pig or T-Rex, Spider-Man also has a variant in the form of a cat, Spider-Cat. The Spider-Cat variant itself is told as a house cat that is raised by a group of high school video game fans. The cat was able to have Spider powers because he accidentally met a cosmic creature named Spider-Totem. As a result he turned into a Spider-Cat, a cat with spider abilities which is certainly very agile.
12. Peni Parker (SP//DR)
This Spider-Man is quite different from the usual version. Peni Parker is the smart-girl variant of Peter Parker from Japan in the TRN451 universe. Peni is not a person who has spider powers like Spider-Man in general, because she is only a pilot driving the SP//DR robot, a sophisticated robot with Spider-Man powers. As a robot, it is clear that SP//DR has more advantages than Peter Parker, as well as her arsenal of weapons. So Peni and her robot are an unbeatable combination from any other Spider-Man.
13. Cyborg Spider-Man
Came from Earth-2818, this Spider-Man has not yet had an origin story that tells him. He first appeared in Superior Spider-Man #33 and took part in the events of the Spider-verse. Just like Old Man Spider, this Spider-Man was also killed by Daemos in Amazing Spider-Man vol 3 #10. With a body mixed with cyborgs, this Spider-Man variant is tougher than Peter Parker.
14. Cosmic Spider-Man
Cosmic Spider-Man is one of the Spider-Man that has a different origin from the Peter Parker story than usual. He comes from Earth-13, which is the Peter Parker in this universe who received the power of the Enigma Force, aka energy fields that can penetrate the Microverse. With the power of the Microverse, it is clear that this variant is quite powerful from Peter Parker. This Spider-Man first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man vol 3 #9 and died at the hands of Solus (head of the Inheritors family) in Amazing Spider-Man vol 3.
15. Spider-Man Venom
Actually he is Peter Parker's Spider-Man in general, which is what distinguishes the power of the Venom symbiote in his body. Many people already know the power of Venom, but not yet with Venom's version of Spider-Man who can also be called Black Spider-Man. The strength of this Spider-Man is higher than the usual Spider-Man. It's because of the symbiote from Venom that makes Spider-Man able to summon symbiote arms that can paralyze his opponents. But unfortunately, this makes Peter have a bad character.
So that’s an interesting article about other versions of Spider-Man. Stay tuned for more information about the movie and don't forget to follow DuniaGames Facebook and Instagram.
