SEGA released a special interview on YouTube featuring First Summer Uika, who plays Akame, on Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, Steam). Akame is an all-around expert operating in Sotenbori.

In this interview, Uika discusses the humorous story of how she accidentally auditioned for a live hostess without knowing she had been offered the role; her impressions of Akame, the character she plays; and her love of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series.

In the video interview, which is about 10 minutes long, Uika talks enthusiastically about her experience playing Akame. She said that she actually did not intend to attend the audition, but due to an accidental event, she entered it instead. Not knowing that the role had been offered to her, Uika auditioned excitedly and gave an outstanding performance.

Uika also shared her impressions of Akame. According to her, Akame is a strong and mysterious character with interesting sides that make her feel alive. She described the role of Akame as a fun challenge and she really enjoyed getting into the character.

Apart from that, Uika also expressed her love for the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. She says she's been a loyal fan of the series from the start, and being part of the Like a Dragon Gaiden project was a dream come true for her. According to her, this series has a strong story and complex characters, which keeps her coming back to explore the world built by Yakuza/Like a Dragon.
