Weak Hero Class has secured a special place in the hearts of Korean action drama fans. Following the success of its first season, the second season—released on Netflix on April 25, 2025—once again captured everyone's attention.
With a more intense story and the introduction of exciting new characters, fan enthusiasm soared. However, after an emotional and shocking finale, many are asking: will there be Weak Hero Class 3?
Weak Hero Class 2 brought Park Ji-hoon back as Yeon Si-eun. He was joined by Ryeoun (as Park Hu-min aka Baku), Lee Min-jae (as Go Yun-tak), Seo Jun-tae (as Choi Min-yeong), Yu Su-bin (as Choi Hyo-man), Lee Jun-young (as Geum Seong-je), and Bae Na-ra (as Na Baek-jin). Their presence deepened the conflict and built the tension leading up to a major showdown between the Eunjang High gang and the Union.
The season finale delivered the epic battle fans had been waiting for. A day before the fight, Si-eun devised a plan to seize the phone containing evidence of Union’s illegal activities. However, the mission nearly failed when Seong-jae betrayed him. Thankfully, Jun-tae arrived just in time to save Si-eun. The drama continued as Si-eun found Baku badly beaten after facing Baek-jin.
In a climactic duel, Si-eun faced Baek-jin—not with his usual pen, but armed with a knuckle duster. Although his body almost gave out, Baku rose and ended the fight with a powerful punch, securing Eunjang High’s victory.
But the story didn’t end there. Shortly after their defeat, Baek-jin was found dead, and the Eunjang friends attended his funeral. The cause of death was not revealed, but there’s strong speculation that Han Jeong-mi, the mastermind behind Union, was involved.
Meanwhile, Han Jeong-mi offered Baek-jin’s vacant position to Geum Seong-je. Though Seong-je didn’t give a direct answer, he asked, "Will it be fun?"—hinting that new conflicts might soon arise.
Most excitingly, Su-ho (Ahn Su-ho) finally woke up from his coma. His emotional reunion with Si-eun and his new friends closed the season on a hopeful note. With Su-ho’s return and new threats looming, the chances for Weak Hero Class 3 seem higher than ever.
Although there has been no official confirmation from the production team, the unfinished storylines and hints of future conflicts make fans optimistic. Considering how season 2 successfully built hype and expanded the Weak Hero universe, it's highly likely that Netflix or the studio will announce a third season soon.
While waiting for official news, one thing is clear: Weak Hero Class isn’t done punching its way into viewers’ hearts!
