The Free Fire Master League or FFML Season 8 competition is getting hotter in the second week. KAGENDRA succeeded in making a surprise by becoming the top of the Matchday 6 FFML Season 8 standings and winning its first Booyah after a year's absence from winning. POCO Star also performed brilliantly by setting a new record in this tournament, winning 5 Booyah in one week.
POCO Star's extraordinary achievement in ranking first in the FFML Season 8 League Standing standings created a new record. They collected a total of 356 points, 51 points ahead of RRQ Kazu who was in second place.
POCO Star's main strategy is to play objectively to get the best position. With this strategy, they managed to get 5 Booyahs in the second week, with 3 Booyahs in Match 5 and 2 Booyahs in Match 6. Their total points, 196, also surpassed RRQ's record in the previous week which only collected 163 points with 4 Booyahs.
Apart from focusing on objectives, the dueling ability of coach Bang Fayad's players was also a key factor in their victory. POCO Star's total elimination points in the second week reached 90 points, consisting of 57 points on the second day and 33 points on the third day of FFML Season 8 Week 2. This number of elimination points was supported by a total placement point of 106 points.
Apart from POCO Star, the Onic Olympus and Bigetron Delta teams also performed impressively in the second week. Onic Olympus rose from 7th to 3rd place with 145 points, while Bigetron Delta rose from 10th to 4th place with 156 points.
The fight for the top 12 positions is also getting more exciting. The community team, Persis x Oke, is ranked 13th with the opportunity to advance to the Semi Final and Grand Final rounds. With consistent performance, they can realize their dream of becoming the first community team to reach this stage in FFML Season 8.
Popular teams with a large fan base like EVOS Divine also want to bounce back in FFML Season 8 Week 3, after they didn't get a single BOOYAH in Week 2. When interviewed by Dunia Games, EVOS Divine's pro player named EVOS Javra revealed that this is all that will be done so that his team can get BOOYAH and bounce back in Week 3.
"We should have evaluated from another week, we should have been able to enter the zone first, because the zone is far from the drop zone, so we have to enter the zone faster," said EVOS Javra.
The FFML Season 8 League Phase series will last for another two weeks. The fierce battle for the championship title and tickets to the Grand Final will be the highlight of the remaining matches which will be even more exciting.
