This year's E3 might be boring due to the absence of two giants Microsoft (Xbox) and Nintendo. Xbox's official statement was announced a few days ago to IGN. According to an Xbox spokesperson, on June 11 they will be broadcasting E3 Digital Week, but will not be physically present at the E3 2023 venue.

Prior to Xbox’s statement, Nintendo first announced its absence at E3 2023. Presented to IGN, Nintendo said that this year's E3 event was not according to the planned agenda. Even so, Nintendo will continue to support the ESA organizers and also E3 itself.

So it's only Sony and PlayStation who haven't said anything about E3 2023. If you look back, Sony and PlayStation have been absent from E3 since 2020. So it's unlikely that they will be present at E3 2023.
