The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025 Esports World Cup has reached the Grand Finals, held from August 1-3, 2025. A total of 16 of the best PUBG Mobile teams from around the world are competing for the PMWC 2025 trophy and a massive prize pool of US$3 million.

The Indonesian team, Alter Ego Ares, won the Group Stage. This victory certainly proves Indonesia's readiness to compete. The PMWC 2025 Esports World Cup Grand Finals will run from August 1-3, 2025, where 16 of the best PUBG Mobile teams will compete for the trophy and a total cash prize of US$3 million. Note that the Smash Rules format will be implemented in this tournament as a new change.

On the first day, Indonesian team Alter Ego Ares opened up a lead by securing WWCD in game 1, Sanhok. In the following games, teams like Yangon Galacticos, Regnum Carya Esports, Team Falcons, and DRX also stole the spotlight on day one.

Yangon Galacticos closed out game 6 with a WWCD. On day one, Yangon Galacticos led with a total of 67 points, followed by DRX with 53 points in second place, and Alpha Gaming in third with 48 points. Meanwhile, Alter Ego Ares finished in fourth place with a total of 43 points.

Moving into day two, the competition heated up. Alpha Gaming managed to secure a WWCD in game 1, Sanhok. In the following game, the top-ranked Yangon Galacticos rallied again, securing WWCDs in games 2 and 4. Additionally, teams like POWR Esports and 4Thrives Esports made significant appearances. Ultimately, Alter Ego Ares closed out the second day with a WWCD in game 6, Miramar.

The second day concluded with Yangon Galacticos still at the top with a total of 118 points, followed by Alpha Gaming with 117 points and Weibo Gaming with 82 points in second and third place, respectively. Still in the same position, Indonesian team Alter Ego Ares held on to fourth place with 72 points.

Ultimately, the third day was a deciding factor for all teams. They had to utilize the Smash Rule to secure the championship. The significant point gap created gave Yangon Galacticos a strong chance of winning PMWC 2025. In Game 1, Sanhok was secured by Nongshim Redforce.

Chinese team Weibo Gaming rallied in Games 2 and 3, securing two consecutive WWCDs, attempting to narrow the gap. Unfortunately, Alter Ego Ares failed to perform at their best in the first three games. Other teams, including Regnum Carya Esports and Team Falcons, took turns claiming WWCDs in the following games.

Realizing that Yangon Galacticos had a strong chance of winning the PMWC 2025 Esports World Cup, MasterSMILE and his teammates continued to give their all. In Game 6, they finally emerged victorious, securing the PMWC 2025 Esports World Cup title with a significant points lead over the other teams.
