The producer of Final Fantasy XVI, Naoki Yoshida or Yoshida-P, denied rumors that Final Fantasy XVI would be released on PC. These comments were made during the Final Fantasy XIV New Year's Mahjong Tournament streaming event. This event took place on January 9, 2023, and was held annually by the FFXIV team.
At the tournament, Yoshi-P appeared as a premium member who answered various questions and topics from fans. He also responded to rumors about FFXIV which is reportedly going to be released on PC. “There was talk that a PC version of FFXIV would be released, but none of the team talked about it. I don't understand why people assume that the PC version will be released six months after the PS5 version. It's better if you guys buy a PS5 immediately," replied Yoshi-P on the stream.
This rumor arose because, in the first trailer for FFXVI, it was stated that the game would also be available for PC. Not only that, Sony's "Play Like Never Before" trailer that appeared recently also mentioned that FFXVI will be an exclusive PF5 game for six months. So, six months after its release on PS5, will FFXVI get a PC version? Wait for further news only on Dunia Games!
