In the fifth place is Del Lago. In Spanish, Del Lago means from the river. As the name suggests, this monster lives in the river, and to beat Del Lago, you need to spear the monster. 

Del Lago is one of the scariest creatures in Resident Evil 4 because of its body, and it requires a lot of time to beat it.

4. El Gigante

Next is El Gigante, which means the giant in Spanish. El Gigante is a human-based Bio Organic weapon produced by Los Iluminados. El Gigante has a body bigger than average human, and it has more strength too.

3. Verdugo

Meaning executioner, Verdugo is a zombie created with the purpose of becoming Ramon Salazar’s bodyguard. Verdugo is created by combining an insect’s DNA with a human subject plagued by Plagas.

Verdugo has a horrifying look, it has a terrifying face and sickle-like fingers. What makes Verdugo more terrifying is its ability to fuse and Ramon Salazar to be a giant creature.

2. Chainsaw Man

Although it doesn’t have a horrifying body, unlike the three previous monsters, Chainsaw Man is still a scary monster because it can kill Leon in one hit.

Leon’s head is a goner as soon as he got hit by Chainsaw Man.

The first monster on this list is Iron Maiden, a weird zombie that lives in a lab. What makes Iron Maiden so scary in Resident Evil 4 is its body and noise. Not mention there are tons of existing Iron Maiden in the game.
