Genshin Impact has just announced "To the Stars Shining in the Depths" in the 4.1 update. The area north of Fontaine is now open, which makes this update unique, and then, the main story about Neuvillette and Wriothesley will also continue. This patch is a response to the success of version 4.0 which introduced Fontaine as well as the start of the third year of content and the main Archon Quest. New Areas in Fontaine

This version will introduce two new areas in the Nation of Justice, located north of the Court of Fontaine. The first area, Lefaye, appears to be mostly underwater, while Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering is located in the east. Leaks suggest that the Nation of Justice will reveal Fortress of Meropide along with two other regions in Fontaine.

New 5-Star Characters of Fontaine

Two new characters, Neuvillette and Wriothesley have been introduced in the livestream of version 4.1. They are both 5-star catalyst characters. Wriothesley has Cryo Vision and Neuvillette has Hydro Ability. Interesting facts about Neuvillette not having Vision and Wriothesley is the first 5-star catalyst to have Vision Cryo.

Free 4-Star Weapon and New 5-Star Weapon

Every time new characters such as Neuvillette and Wriothesley appear, this update will also present new signature weapons that are suitable for them. It doesn't stop there, in Genshin Impact 4.1 you will also get the newest 4-star catalyst weapon for free, namely "Ballad of the Boundless Blue", you can get this weapon at a limited event in version 4.1.

Neuvillette's signature five-star catalyst weapon is the Tome of Eternal Flow with a secondary stat at Lv.90 of 88.2% Crit DMG, followed by Wriothesley's signature weapon called Cashflow Supervision with a secondary stat at Lv.90 of 22.1% Crit Rate.

New Comission System: Adventure Encounters

The most anticipated update by many players in version 4.1 will introduce a new feature called Adventure Encounters which will make it easier for players to claim their daily rewards. This new feature also keeps players from getting bored when doing daily missions and can be replaced by simply making exploration progress and completing several light missions so that 40 points will be filled and they can complete daily missions in Genshin Impact easily.

Genshin Impact Third Anniversary Rewards 

To celebrate Genshin Impact's third Anniversary, they will be giving away various rewards including 10x Interwined Fate, 80K Mora, 18x Mystic Enchanment Ore and 8x Hero's Wit. You can get all these rewards through the seven-day login promotion 'Bathing in Flowing Moonlight'. Then you will get additional reward in the form of 1x Itty Bitty Octobaby (New Pet), 1x Portable Aerodynamic Gelatinous Bubble Generator (New Gadget), 1600x Primogems for 4 days, and 4x Fragile Resin.
