The official website for the Tokyo Revengers anime series based on Ken Wakui's manga announced that the anime is replacing Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the voice of Ken "Draken" Ryūgūji. This decision was taken after discussions between Tatsuhisa Suzuki's agency and the Tokyo Revengers anime production committee. The creators of Tokyo Revengers anime also reassured fans that they are still working on the "Seiya Kessen" ("Christmas Showdown") arc that will continue the anime's story.

Tatsuhisa Suzuki did not participate in the "TV Anime Tokyo Revengers Special Event~Tokyo Manjikai Tachikawa Touring~" at Tachikawa Stage Garden in December 2021. The event announced the "Seiya Kessen" arc of the Tokyo Revengers anime.

Suzuki announced a hiatus from all activities in the entertainment industry in August 2021. His music group OLDCODEX and Suzuki's agency made the announcement not long after the popular singer LiSA, Suzuki's wife, also announced her hiatus due to her mental and physical exhaustion.
