This anime presents some very cool and quite popular characters, such as Chelsea Akame ga Kill, Tatsumi Akame ga Kill, Mine Akame ga Kill and the most famous one is Esdeath Akame ga Kill. As an anime series adapted from a manga, Akame ga Kill season 2 is also in great demand by many people because of the excitement of the story. If you want to know more about Akame ga Kill, let's check out these 15 facts!
1. A Light Novel Adaptation
Like an anime series with a slick and popular story, the story of Akame ga Kill originated from several light novels and later proved popular enough to be turned into a manga which was then serialized. It happened about 11 years ago and since then, the story has continued to gain popularity, especially in certain countries.
2. The Majority of the Story Highlighted Corruption
Most of Akame ga Kill's stories are centered on corrupt practices. The story involves the main character traveling across the country trying to raise money for people in trouble, but he finds himself in fact that almost every individual he once trusted is corrupt.
Ironically, this can be a mirror for society in the real world, especially in modern times. Maybe that's one of the reasons why Akame ga Kill appeals to so many people who think differently.
3. Also Tells About The Loss Of Innocence
As many people know, the story of Akame ga Kill is also a story centered on the loss of one's guilt. Some people call it a thing naive. The problem is, everyone has an idealistic approach to some things but they keep losing that ideal as they are exposed to more and more harsh realities in this world, especially when they feel that the world is very harsh.
This story is a story about the attitude to face that reality and decide what kind of person the main character wants to be, even when facing such conditions of contention.
4. The Story is Darker Than Anime with the Same Genre
In terms of violence, Akame ga Kill is a series that basically wins by a landslide in that category. The series is certainly considered one of the tougher stories in its genre. Some people just don't like violent stories but many others seem to enjoy them more. In the end, it comes down to the personal preference of each person.
6. Adapted in Anime Because of Its Popularity
This fact should not surprise you. Almost every light novel that was eventually serialized into a manga was also adapted into an anime series because it was so popular. Akame ga Kill has also gained popularity since it was still in the form of a light novel, especially when it was made into a manga, therefore the anime series is no less popular than the two previous versions. The anime series was also made into a second season because it was so attractive to many people.

In the United States, Akame ga Kill has proven to be very popular. When the anime was released, many Americans might say that this series is considered a series with a reasonable story, and has a standard by which almost all other anime titles in the genre are similar to this series.
