1. When He Was Little, He Was A Grumpy Child

At that time, he was training under his grandfather named Ginrei Kuchiki, and this boy named Byakuya was really a hot-tempered person.

The flashback scene makes it clear that they were happily married for five years, and when Hisana died, Byakuya vowed to find Rukia, just as Hisana requested. Captain Byakuya also promises to never go against Soul Society's rules again, though he goes against them later on.

6. Riku Jokoro is his favorite kido

Captain Byakuya Kuchiki can use various kido with ease, and this makes him flexible in various battles. Although not a true master of kido like Captain Aizen or Hachigen Ushoda, Byakuya prefers to use a kido known as Riku Jokoro, which means "six-rod light restraint" in Japanese.

With it, he can knock out his foes, and the kido gives him a clear shot with his shikai or follow-up kido. Rukia uses it against the Noveno Espada named Aaroniero, and the Espada knows through Kaien Shiba's memories that Byakuya enjoys using the spell in various battles.

Byakuya Kuchiki is someone who comes from a very rich family and also wears expensive accessories around his neck. Ginrei Kuchiki is Byakuya Kuchiki's grandfather, and among them is Sojun Kuchiki who becomes Byakuya's father. This man was never actually shown appearing in the Bleach anime or manga, but he did appear in the Bleach sourcebook.

Based on the image in the sourcebook, Sojun is a cool man and has a more relaxed and friendly face than the facial expressions Byakuya usually shows.
